Volunteers are essential for us, and a great way for community members to engage with food systems work.
We currently have three main ways that people volunteer:
Support our North Coast Online Farmers Market on Thursdays. Contact twila@northcoastfoodweb.org to find out more.
Support with planning and staffing our community events, including our annual Taste of the Food Web fundraiser. Contact yana@northcoastfoodweb.org to find out more.
Apply to join our Board or Advisory Council. Both of these bodies play essential roles in the smooth running and responsible engagement with our mission to build a strong food system. Contact president@northcoastfoodweb.org, or read below about Board service.
Not sure how you want to play with us? Contact yana@northcoastfoodweb.org to chat about the possibilities with our Executive Director.
Attend a board meeting to meet other members and see our process.
Our Director and Board President will talk with you, and our Board will vote to approve your candidacy.
